The Center for Dialogue is a publicly-supported nonprofit organization that has served the residents of Transylvania County since 1989 (formerly as the Transylvania Dispute Settlement Center). The Center receives funding from state and local governments, United Way, grants and personal donations. Many services are free of charge; participants are encouraged to make a donation in lieu of a fee for service.
